Caprieasy FAQ — Booking, Hosts & Platform

Answers for guests and hosts on bookings, listing limits, premium visibility, payments, and stays across Capri, the Amalfi Coast, and the Bay of Naples.

Booking and availability

Availability is confirmed during the booking flow. The final source of truth is always the checkout summary, not only the initial card.

It depends on host settings and offer type. If no temporary hold is enabled, availability remains open to other guests.

Villas and private stays usually follow full-unit logic, while hotels and hospitality stays are often room-based with service options. Each listing explains its own rules.

You can request changes, but they depend on host policy and availability. Date and guest updates may change the total price.

Pricing, payments, and policy

The initial price is a comparison starting point. The final total is calculated with dates, guests, room or slot choice, and optional services.

Charge timing follows the selected checkout flow and booking terms. You always see total amount and key conditions before confirmation.

Totals can update when you change dates, guests, room type, boat timeslot, or extras. Always review the latest summary before payment.

Every listing has its own cancellation policy. Refund timing and amount depend on host rules, selected fare type, and cancellation time.

Featured listings & visibility

It highlights listings whose hosts purchased a premium promotion for a limited time. Up to 4 slots rotate fairly so multiple promoted listings receive comparable exposure.

Promotion is a visibility product, not a quality certificate. Always read reviews, house rules, cancellation policy, and the checkout summary before booking.

Homepage featured slots are limited and time-bound. Category views may still surface promoted listings according to platform rules and availability.

Support and trust

You can message the host from the listing page. For platform support, use the Contact page and include your booking ID when available.

On each listing detail page you can find description, house rules, key conditions, and listing-specific FAQ published by the host.

No. Capri remains a core destination, but the platform also supports areas such as Amalfi, Positano, Naples, Ischia, and Procida with phased local expansion.

Pricing and checkout

It’s a starting rate so you can compare listings at a glance. Your real total is calculated after you pick dates, guests, and options (for example half-day vs full day on a boat, or a specific room).

The order summary on the listing updates as you change those choices—use it as the source of truth before you pay.

Hosts can enable different plans:
• Full day — one price for a full-day rental window.
• Half day — one price for a morning or afternoon slot; the return time is based on the slot length the host set (start time + duration).
• Hourly — when available, short trips are priced per hour within the host’s daily window.

Some boats are priced for the whole party; others are per person (for example shared trips). If it’s per person, the total scales with guest count.

Only when the host allows multiple bookings per day. If that’s enabled, different time slots (for example morning and afternoon) can be sold separately. You’ll always see the price for the slot you selected.

Rates are usually per night for the dates you choose. If the listing uses extra-guest pricing, the total may increase when your group is larger than the included capacity. Minimum nights or seasonal rules are set by the host and applied when you book.

You typically choose a room type or room first. The rate is tied to that choice and your stay dates. The summary total reflects that room and length of stay.

Depending on the listing, the summary may include:
• Optional extras or services you add
• Taxes or platform fees, where they apply
• A non-refundable option, if you select it and the listing supports it

If a line is unclear, contact the host or support before completing payment.

Payment timing follows the checkout flow you see on the site (for example pay now or pay according to the host’s rules). You’ll always see the amount and main conditions before confirming. For specifics on holds, capture, or payout timing, refer to the payment step and your receipt after booking.

Changes depend on the host’s availability and policy. Use the booking tools or message the host as early as possible. A new price may apply if dates or party size change.

Each listing shows a cancellation policy. Refund amounts and deadlines depend on that policy, when you cancel, and the fare type you chose (for example standard vs non-refundable). Read the policy section on the listing before you book.

Capacity and pricing follow what the host configured and what you enter as guest count at booking. If unsure (for example infants on boats), ask the host before confirming.

Totals recalculate when dates, guests, room, add-ons, or fare type change. Another guest may also have booked overlapping time. Refresh dates or choices and check the updated summary.

The checkout summary is what you agree to for that transaction. Optional extras or on-site charges (for example fuel, skipper, port fees) may still apply if the host describes them in the listing—read the description and house rules.

Hosts set their rates and availability. The platform provides the tools to calculate and display totals clearly. Applicable fees or taxes may be added where required.

Use Contact us or write to the host from the listing. We’re happy to help you read a quote or walk through the booking steps.

Listing limits & VIP status

Caprieasy applies capacity limits by host plan:
• Standard hosts: up to 5 active listings (drafts and listings awaiting approval count toward the limit).
• VIP hosts: up to 25 listings.

Your dashboard shows remaining slots when you create a new listing. Limits are set by the platform and may be updated over time.

VIP status is reserved for professional operators who manage multiple properties or boats. VIP hosts receive a higher listing cap (25 vs 5 for standard hosts) and may access additional benefits over time.

VIP status is granted by Caprieasy (for example after review or through partner programs). It is not automatic for every registration.

You cannot create new listings until you free a slot (for example by removing an unused draft or deactivating a listing you no longer offer). Upgrading to VIP raises your cap if you qualify.

Existing listings already online are not removed when you hit the limit.

Soft-deleted listings no longer count. Drafts, pending-approval, and active listings all count toward your limit while they exist in your account.

Premium promotion (“In evidenza”)

Promoted listings appear in the homepage “In evidenza” (featured) section and receive priority visibility in relevant catalog views. Promotion is a paid add-on on top of a normal, approved listing—it does not replace quality standards or guest booking rules.

From your host dashboard go to Promotions, choose an approved active listing, and select a duration package (7, 15, or 30 days). Payment is completed securely via Stripe.

After payment, the request is reviewed by Caprieasy. Once approved, the promotion goes live for the purchased period.

Concurrent promotion limits depend on your host plan when promotion limits are enabled:
• Standard hosts: up to 5 simultaneous promotions (pending approval or active).
• VIP hosts: up to 5.

Only listings that are active and approved can be promoted.

Up to 4 promoted listings are shown in the homepage featured block at a time. The platform uses fair rotation so active promotions receive comparable exposure over time—not a permanent fixed position for a single listing.

Before expiry you can purchase a new package for the same listing. Renewal days are added automatically after payment—no gap in homepage visibility.

New promotions (first-time) require admin approval after payment. If a request is rejected, a refund is issued according to platform policy.

No. Promotion increases visibility; conversion still depends on pricing, availability, reviews, and how complete your listing is. Always keep calendars, photos, and policies up to date.

Approval, quality & payouts

Every listing is reviewed before it goes public. This protects guests and maintains catalog quality. Host-created listings stay off the marketplace until approved.

No. Free editorial featuring is managed by Caprieasy. Paid homepage promotion is the self-service visibility product available to eligible hosts.

Use the host dashboard for bookings, calendar, and payment account payout status. Operational payout rules follow your connected account and booking terms.
