Pricing & booking FAQ

Quick answers about prices, how totals are built, boats, stays, and what happens at checkout. Rules can vary by listing—always check the booking summary and the host’s policy on the page.

It’s a starting rate so you can compare listings at a glance. Your real total is calculated after you pick dates, guests, and options (for example half-day vs full day on a boat, or a specific room).

The order summary on the listing updates as you change those choices—use it as the source of truth before you pay.

Hosts can enable different plans:
• Full day — one price for a full-day rental window.
• Half day — one price for a morning or afternoon slot; the return time is based on the slot length the host set (start time + duration).
• Hourly — when available, short trips are priced per hour within the host’s daily window.

Some boats are priced for the whole party; others are per person (for example shared trips). If it’s per person, the total scales with guest count.

Only when the host allows multiple bookings per day. If that’s enabled, different time slots (for example morning and afternoon) can be sold separately. You’ll always see the price for the slot you selected.

Rates are usually per night for the dates you choose. If the listing uses extra-guest pricing, the total may increase when your group is larger than the included capacity. Minimum nights or seasonal rules are set by the host and applied when you book.

You typically choose a room type or room first. The rate is tied to that choice and your stay dates. The summary total reflects that room and length of stay.

Depending on the listing, the summary may include:
• Optional extras or services you add
• Taxes or platform fees, where they apply
• A non-refundable option, if you select it and the listing supports it

If a line is unclear, contact the host or support before completing payment.

Payment timing follows the checkout flow you see on the site (for example pay now or pay according to the host’s rules). You’ll always see the amount and main conditions before confirming. For specifics on holds, capture, or payout timing, refer to the payment step and your receipt after booking.

Changes depend on the host’s availability and policy. Use the booking tools or message the host as early as possible. A new price may apply if dates or party size change.

Each listing shows a cancellation policy. Refund amounts and deadlines depend on that policy, when you cancel, and the fare type you chose (for example standard vs non-refundable). Read the policy section on the listing before you book.

Capacity and pricing follow what the host configured and what you enter as guest count at booking. If unsure (for example infants on boats), ask the host before confirming.

Totals recalculate when dates, guests, room, add-ons, or fare type change. Another guest may also have booked overlapping time. Refresh dates or choices and check the updated summary.

The checkout summary is what you agree to for that transaction. Optional extras or on-site charges (for example fuel, skipper, port fees) may still apply if the host describes them in the listing—read the description and house rules.

Hosts set their rates and availability. The platform provides the tools to calculate and display totals clearly. Applicable fees or taxes may be added where required.
