Caprieasy FAQ — Booking & Travel

Answers for travelers on availability, payments, your stay, and support across Capri, the Amalfi Coast, and the Bay of Naples.

CapriEasy at a glance

CapriEasy is a direct booking platform for villas, boats, and hotels in Capri, the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Ischia, and Procida. Travelers compare verified listings, see clear totals before paying, and book with secure checkout and local support on caprieasy.com.

CapriEasy focuses on Capri and the Gulf of Naples region with verified hosts, transparent pricing shown before checkout, and human local support. It is not a global marketplace: listings are curated for boats, private stays, and hospitality in this area, with booking rules and policies shown on each listing.

Yes. Payments go through secure checkout, listings are reviewed before going live, and bookings are tied to real reservations you can track in My Bookings. Reviews come from completed stays. For payment or stay issues, contact the host in booking chat first, then CapriEasy support with your booking ID.

CapriEasy covers Capri, the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Ischia, and Procida. You can browse boats, private villas and houses, and hotels or B&Bs in those areas from the homepage or category pages.

Booking and availability

Open the listing, choose dates, guests, and options (room, boat slot, extras). The booking summary on the page updates as you change choices—that summary is the source of truth before you pay.

If checkout cannot complete, the slot may have just been taken or the host’s rules block that combination.

Most bookings start as pending while the host reviews the request. You’ll see the status in My Bookings and receive notifications when it changes.

Once approved, you can message the host from the booking or listing chat. If the stay requires guest registration data (for example Italian lodging rules), you’ll get a prompt in My Bookings after approval.

It depends on the listing and checkout flow. If no hold or payment step is offered, the dates stay open to other guests until a booking is confirmed.

Villas and private stays are usually booked as a whole unit for your dates. Hotels and room-based stays let you pick a room type. Boats use day, half-day, or hourly slots set by the host. See Pricing and checkout below for how totals are calculated.

After your booking

Sign in and open My Bookings in your traveler dashboard. There you’ll find dates, status, total paid, messages, and any actions required (for example confirming stay completion or leaving a review).

Pending: the host has not accepted yet—you may still be able to cancel according to the policy shown at booking.

Approved: the host confirmed. Prepare using the listing’s house rules and any instructions from the host in chat.

For some stays in Italy, hosts must collect guest details after approval. If required, Caprieasy will show a task in My Bookings with a secure form. Complete it as soon as possible to avoid delays at check-in.

After the stay is marked complete (host and guest confirmation flow), you may be invited to leave a review from My Bookings. Reviews help other travelers and are tied to real completed stays.

Message the host first from your booking chat while the issue is happening. If you cannot resolve it, contact Caprieasy support via the Contact page with your booking ID, dates, and a short description.

For payment disputes, keep your receipt and the cancellation policy snapshot from your booking.

Account and payments

Yes. You need a traveler account to complete a booking, receive confirmations, and manage stays in My Bookings. Hosts use a separate host registration and onboarding flow.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe during checkout. You’ll see the final amount and main conditions on the payment step before confirming.

Caprieasy does not ask for card details by email or chat.

See the Pricing and checkout section on this page for charges, refunds, fare types, boat slots, taxes, and extras. Each listing also shows its cancellation policy before you confirm.

Support and trust

Use Message on the listing or booking to reach the host. For platform help, open Contact us and include your booking ID when you have one.

On each listing page: description, house rules, cancellation policy, and any FAQ the host added. Those details apply to that property or boat.

No. Capri is a core destination, but the platform also lists stays and experiences in areas such as the Amalfi Coast, Naples, Ischia, and Procida, with ongoing expansion.

Platform rules and data processing are defined in our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy (linked at the bottom of this page and in the site footer).

These FAQs are a guide; if anything conflicts, the legal documents and your booking confirmation prevail.

Pricing and checkout

It’s the minimum all-inclusive total for that listing (host rate plus platform fee and VAT where applicable), so you can compare listings at a glance.

Your exact total is calculated after you pick dates, guests, and options (for example half-day vs full day on a boat, or a specific room). Use the booking summary on the listing as the source of truth before you pay.

Hosts can enable different plans:
• Full day — one price for a full-day rental window.
• Half day — one price for a morning or afternoon slot; the return time is based on the slot length the host set (start time + duration).
• Hourly — when available, short trips are priced per hour within the host’s daily window.

Some boats are priced for the whole party; others are per person (for example shared trips). If it’s per person, the total scales with guest count.

Only when the host allows multiple bookings per day. If that’s enabled, different time slots (for example morning and afternoon) can be sold separately. You’ll always see the price for the slot you selected.

Rates are usually per night for the dates you choose. If the listing uses extra-guest pricing, the total may increase when your group is larger than the included capacity. When the host sets a minimum stay, it is enforced at checkout.

You typically choose a room type or room first. The rate is tied to that choice and your stay dates. The summary total reflects that room and length of stay.

Depending on the listing, the summary may include:
• Optional extras or services you add
• Taxes or platform fees, where they apply
• A non-refundable option, if you select it and the listing supports it

If a line is unclear, contact the host or support before completing payment.

Payment timing follows the checkout flow you see on the site (for example pay now or pay according to the host’s rules). You’ll always see the amount and main conditions before confirming. For specifics on holds, capture, or payout timing, refer to the payment step and your receipt after booking.

Changes depend on the host’s availability and policy. Use the booking tools or message the host as early as possible. A new price may apply if dates or party size change.

Each listing shows a cancellation policy. Refund amounts and deadlines depend on that policy, when you cancel, and the fare type you chose (for example standard vs non-refundable). Read the policy section on the listing before you book.

Capacity and pricing follow what the host configured and what you enter as guest count at booking. If unsure (for example infants on boats), ask the host before confirming.

Totals recalculate when dates, guests, room, add-ons, or fare type change. Another guest may also have booked overlapping time. Refresh dates or choices and check the updated summary.

The checkout summary is what you agree to for that transaction. Optional extras or on-site charges (for example fuel, skipper, port fees) may still apply if the host describes them in the listing—read the description and house rules.

Hosts set their rates and availability. The platform provides the tools to calculate and display totals clearly. Applicable fees or taxes may be added where required.

Sign in and open a support ticket from your dashboard, or message the host from the listing. We’re happy to help you read a quote or walk through the booking steps.
